I fell in love with clay the end of my junior year in college, and the resulting change in academic majors cost me a fifth year of school. Grad school, both at the University of Minnesota (art education) and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (studio art) were among the happiest years of my life: clay, clay, and more clay.
